Pool and Beach Lifeguard

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety of guests and team members within the designated swimming areas during the posted business hours.
• Possesses Life Guard certification and is authorized to conduct AR and CPR.
• Ensures the set‑up of safety equipment at the beach or pool, including life‑saving flotation devices, correct flag placement, rescue surfboard/boat readiness, first aid kit, posting of business hours, pool depth, water and air temperatures, wind force and speed.
• Keeps the designated and marked swimming areas free of engine‑driven boats, windsurfers, sea bikes (pedalos) and similar vessels.
• Ensures swimmers and snorkelers avoid boat tracks or other hazardous areas.
• Supervises the use of kayaks and paddle boards, including guest log‑in and log‑out, monitoring actions, and ensuring safe engagement in other water activities while out on the sea.
