Polysomnographic Technologist - Part Time Nights (30 hours/week) - Novi

Location:Henry Ford Providence Novi

Department:Sleep Medicine

Shift:Part Time (30 hours per week); Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Night Shifts. All Shifts from 8:30pm to 6:30am

GENERAL SUMMARY

+ Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.

+ Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.

+ Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.

+ Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret and report result of sleep studies.

+ Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs/replacements.
