Poltrona Frau In Motion Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of purchasing materials, equipment, and molds for the production of automotive interiors and components for the naval and aviation sectors, ensuring compliance with OEM requirements in terms of quality, costs, lead times, and process robustness throughout the entire product life cycle.
S/he reports to the Poltrona Frau In Motion General Manager.

Main Activities
Technical Purchasing - Direct Materials Management of purchasing of direct materials critical to the production process (natural and synthetic leather, plastic supports, foams, adhesives, technical yarns) Technical assessment of suppliers in collaboration with Quality and Process Engineering. Definition of technical supply specifications and tender documents. Management of supply PPAPs (PSW, IMDS, material certifications). Monitoring and improvement of supplier performance (PPM, OTD, cost savings).
