: The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is the independent prosecution authority of the Australian Capital Territory. It comprises the Director of Public Prosecutions, an independent statutory officer, and staff employed under the Public Sector Management Act 1994, to assist the Director.The role of the Policy Officer is to provide policy advice to the Director and Executive, including on Cabinet submissions, law reform and other project work. You will work closely with other sections of the office, ensuring that law reform issues are raised with the Executive and brought to the attention of Government. The role also represents the Director and Executive in policy related meetings.
The classification will be based on the successful applicants skills and experience at either the prosecutor grade 1-2 or 3 level.
