The Forestry System directorate at Te Uru Rākau – New Zealand Forest Service are seeking two Policy Analysts to join the Sector Growth and Operational Policy - Forestry and Resource teams. These roles are central to shaping the future of New Zealand's forestry and wood processing sector.

The Forestry System Directorate provides operational policy and economic development advice, acting as a key link between MPI's Policy & Trade units and the forestry and wood processing sectors. Our work spans sector development, market expansion, land-use planning in Tairāwhiti, and initiatives like the Maximising Forest Carbon Programme.
