Summary This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans (PLCY), Counterterrorism & Homeland Threats (CTHT). Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position. Responsibilities The Primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Senior Policy Analyst on PLCY's Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) team, responsible for providing policy development and coordination, strategy, planning, and analysis to the DHS Secretary and other Departmental and Component leaders. As a Policy Analyst, GS-0301-14, your typical work assignments may include: Develops, coordinates and prioritizes DHS policies, programs, and resources to address illicit activities of transnational criminal organizations, with a focus on counternarcotics or counter child sexual exploitation and abuse efforts.
