Job Summary

The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is seeking skilled individuals to conduct investigations on a daily basis. Reporting to the Captain, Criminal Investigations, of the Nunavik Police Service (NPS), the Sergeant Investigator directs investigations and carries out or supervises special missions.

Responsibilities

• Participating in planning and conducting police investigations.
• Analyzing evidence gathered to reconstruct the sequence of events.
• Preparing an investigation plan based on available data.
• Employing interrogation techniques according to case law and precedents, investigative training standards, or experience in the field.
• Recruiting informants and maintaining contact.
