Point Of Care Testing Medical Technologist

The POCT Medical Technologist provides technical expertise and oversight to ensure accurate and efficient Point of Care Testing (POCT) practices across multiple units; supports nurses and non-licensed staff by delivering training, competency assessments and guidance on laboratory testing policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; and serves as a technical resource, collaborates with clinical and IT teams and follows safety and confidentiality protocols to maintain high-quality patient care.

Location: Near Honolulu, HI

Type: Full-time and permanent

Shift: Days

Requirements: College degree; ASCP certification; HI license; prior experience

Pay: $34-$42/hr
