Podiatrist - HMP Preston, Kirkham & Lancaster Farms

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced podiatrist to join the HiJ Musculoskeletal team on a part‑time basis at HMP Preston, HMP Kirkham and HMP Lancaster Farms. The role consists of 12 hours a week at HMP Preston, 8 hours a month at HMP Kirkham and 4 hours a month at HMP Lancaster Farms, with no on‑call or weekend work to support a strong work‑life balance. Salary is £40,000–£49,000 pro‑rota depending on experience.

Main Duties

As podiatrist, you will provide evidence‑based care, advanced assessment and treatment for patients with complex or chronic conditions. Your responsibilities include:

• Determining clinical diagnosis and treatment plans, maintaining accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
