Job Responsibilities:

+ Maintains, repairs, installs and replaces water, gas, steam, medical gas and drainage systems in accordance with established procedures. In the event of emergency, must be able to work weekends, holidays and other shifts.

Job Description:

+ Maintains, repairs, installs and replaces water, gas, steam, air and medical gas and drainage systems. Threads, solders, fit and weld pipes.
+ Installs, connects, repairs and replaces pipes.
+ Assembles plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers and water heaters.
+ Maintains fire systems, checking sprinklers and standpipes, etc
+ Fits gaskets, seals joints, makes connections using weld, solder, nuts and bolts
+ Repairs autoclaves, sterilizing equipment and distilled water units
+ Paints, plasters or replaces tile and floor boards, when necessary.
