PLC Technician x2 Port Elizabeth (Permanent)

REQUIREMENTS

• National Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Automotive, or IT (NQF 6)
• Trade Test — non-negotiable
• Siemens and Allen Bradley programming experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical or Electronic Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on PLC and robot programming experience
• Familiarity with ERP and MES systems is an advantage
• Computer literate (MS Office)

DUTIES

• You'll handle planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across the factory floor — 
• diagnosing faults, 
• repairing equipment,  
• making sure every job card is closed properly.
• You'll work with PLCs and robots, 
• conduct root cause analysis on recurring problems, and 
• support production with ad hoc electrical technical assistance as needed.
