PLC Engineer: Cement Mine (Lichtenburg)

• Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider)
• Maintain and upgrade PLC, SCADA, and automation systems
• Develop and test logic diagrams, HMI screens, and control strategies
• Provide technical support during commissioning, shutdowns, and process changes
• Troubleshoot control system failures and instrumentation issues
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards

• Bachelors degree in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Instrumentation / Control
  • Mechatronics (or similar)
• 37 years experience in PLC programming & industrial automation
• Strong knowledge of:
  • PLC / DCS / SCADA systems
