Plate Boilermaker

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure, mark out, and prepare metal plates for fabrication.
• Cut, bend, roll, and shape metal using hand tools and machinery.
• Assemble and fit metal components, tanks, vessels, chutes, hoppers, ducts, and structural steelwork.
• Perform welding, grinding, gouging, and finishing tasks as required.
• Repair damaged metal structures and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure completed work meets quality standards and tolerances.
• Use lifting equipment such as cranes, chain blocks, and hoists safely.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, welders, and other tradespeople.
