PLASTERER

• Cleaning, repairing, and preparing surfaces for plastering, including removing old plaster, patching holes, and ensuring a level base.
• Mixing plaster, cement, or other materials to the proper consistency, often using hand tools or mechanical mixers.
• Applying plaster coats to walls and ceilings, using trowels, floats, and other tools to achieve a smooth, even finish.
• Installing plasterboard and wallboard partitions.
• Applying finishing coats and smoothing surfaces, including sealing nail holes and joins.
• Repairing damaged plasterwork, both internally and externally.
• Communicating with clients and other tradespeople to coordinate work and ensure smooth project completion.
• Identifying and resolving issues during plastering work.
• Working effectively with other tradespeople and site managers.
• Completing tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
