About the role

888 Plastering is seeking experienced Plasterers to join our team in Pakenham, Victoria. This full-time position is responsible for providing high-quality fibrous plastering services to our single dwelling and medium density residential builders.

What you'll be doing

1. Installing plasterboard sheets to ceiling joists and wall frames using appropriate fixing methods
2. Measuring, cutting and fitting plasterboard to precise dimensions, including around obstacles such as pipes, ducts and electrical fittings
3. Installing decorative cornices, ceiling roses and mouldings to architectural specifications
4. Applying base coat and finishing compounds to plasterboard joints using hand tools and mechanical applicators
5. Embedding paper or fibreglass tape to reinforce joints
