Plant Operator – Cold Lake, Alberta

Strathcona Resources Ltd. seeks an experienced Plant Operator for our Orion SAGD facility located in Cold Lake, Alberta. The role requires residence in the Cold Lake or Bonnyville, AB area or willingness to relocate upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Strathcona's Health, Safety and Environment and Regulatory (HSER) policies.
• Provide creative solutions and effective problem‑solving of issues that arise within the plant environment, including troubleshooting, flagging deficiencies, and recommending changes to current practices.
• Focus on safety, environment and health of employees while maximizing plant production.
• Review, revise and write Operations Procedures.
• Report deficiencies, initiate MOCs and enter work orders.
• Notify leaders of emergency and upset situations impacting the facility.
