About this opportunity

Cenovus is currently recruiting for the Plant Operator position. Reporting to the Coordinator, the Plant Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of processing equipment to maintain optimal efficiency within the assigned unit. You will be actively adhering to Cenovus policies, safety and operating rules, schedule agreements, attendance guidelines, and Government regulations.

While this vacancy is currently at Christina Lake, this posting could be used to fill vacancies at any of the four Oil Sands Operations sites (Christina Lake, Christina Lake North, Foster Creek, or Sunrise, based on business need).

Work Environment

• This is a full‑time employee position working a shift rotation.
• All Oil Sands Operations sites have full‑service camp facilities and recreational amenities.
