Job Description
Position Purpose:
To ensure the safe, efficient and continuous operations of mechanical/instrumentation equipment and other plant resources inside the facility.
Key Accountabilities:
Safety
To maintain the integrity of all mechanical and related safety devices and equipment (Bearing temperature, Fastener, Gearbox condition, pulley, shaft, coupling, v-belt, chain, ducting, sprocket, linkages, paddles, machine casing, seals, chute, impeller fire sensors, critical safety devices, etc)To implement assigned defects to be corrected- walk-thru reports, audit defects, etc.To actively participate in all safety activities - safety meetings, trainings, celebrations, etc.To play an active role in enforcing company safety policies, rules and regulations to more specific activities (Safety work permit system, etc) for maintenance and contractors.Quality
