Plant Manager

**Essential Job Duties:**

+ Lead by example in modeling the safety behaviors and attitude expected by Amentum.
+ Ensure employee compliance with EHS policies and requirements through frequent visual verification. Actively engage with employees to understand and address the factors contributing to non-compliance.
+ Bridge the gap between Work-as-Imagined and Work-as-Done by actively spending time on the floor with the intentional purpose of collaborating with the team to identify and eliminate operational error traps.
+ Participate in injury management, incident investigation, cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
+ Actively demonstrate to all direct reports that safety is a living part of operations and not a standalone action.
+ Influence supervisors and frontline employees to pause production for safety concerns without fear of retaliation or adverse impact on operational metrics.
