Agilus is recruiting for a Plant Engineer in the Industrial Mineral Company in Exhsaw, Alberta.

Overview

The Mechanical Project Engineer leads capital expenditure initiatives that enhance plant capacity, reliability, and safety in a bulk material processing environment. This role manages end-to-end mechanical projects from concept through commissioning, supporting current production of 140,000+ metric tons and future expansion plans, including a major new plant by 2030. The position works closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, optimize systems, and deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting regulatory, safety, and operational standards.

Compensation

Total rewards: $110,000 - $120,000 annually
Base salary: $110,000–$120,000
Annual performance bonus of 8–10%
5% RRSP employer contribution
3–4 weeks’ vacation plus statutory holidays
