Planning specialist

Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Planning Specialist.

Requirements: Degree or Diploma in logistics. 3+ years of relevant experience. Experience in using planning tools. FMCG and retail experience would be advantageous. Understanding of transport and its different cost elements. Understanding of total operational costs and cost drivers. Code B or EB driver’s license. Flexible work hours. Responsibilities: Planning transport activities cost effectively daily to meet agreed KPI’s and SLAs. Working together with the operations team and senior planners to be aware of daily operational variables which may influence future route scheduling. Updating and interpreting hard and soft constraints on delivery sites and fleet. Building optimal shipments from the movement requirements.
