Planner

We are currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our Transport Team for our Appleton (Warrington) site. As a Transport Planner you will be contributing to the success of the transport team, you will be responsible for completing and overseeing the day-to-day planning function of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day to day challenges in providing an effective transport plan.

Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 08:00-18:00

Salary: up to £33,000 depending upon experience

Key Duties of a Transport Planner: 

• Work with the Carlisle Transport, Central and Network teams, to create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMS.
• Planning orders from multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
