Join the Township of Oro-Medonte as a full-time Planner dedicated to community development and zoning compliance. This role combines public engagement with policy implementation for development applications.
The Planner will report to the Senior Planner, working to uphold the Township's “Planning First” philosophy and providing high-level support on planning inquiries. You will review applications, prepare detailed reports, and present findings at public forums while ensuring alignment with municipal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate development applications and liaise with stakeholders
• Conduct thorough site visits to assess planning proposals
• Draft and present reports during public meetings
• Advise on Zoning By-Laws and related policies
• Support the Development Services Committee's agenda development

• Urban Planning degree or related academic background
