Planner

As a member of the Planning Team, the Planner is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted supply of purchased parts to the assembly line by applying lean manufacturing principles.
This includes setting appropriate planning parameters, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and preventing shortages or material obsolescence.
The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and collaborating effectively with all internal departments.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Ensure the supply of purchased parts to the assembly line.
Define supply parameters in collaboration with suppliers and establish optimal delivery schedules.
Analyze, plan, and promptly adjust orders based on production schedule changes, engineering changes (ECN), or inventory adjustments.
Implement actions to manage excess inventory and propose solutions for obsolete materials.
Coordinate subcontracting orders and part shipments (F30).
