Planner / Buyer Iii

Position Summary:Analyzes MRP/APS and planning of direct and indirect material planning for all line products.Typically supports more technical, complex, or medium/high spend commodities.May coach/manage less experienced Commodity Planners.Supports new product introductions by securing material for pilot runs.Leads and drives variable cost productivity efforts related to assigned commodity/products.Analyzes MRP system and determines orders to be placed according to schedule.Ensures material availability to meet production schedule.May support Commodity Planner to effectively handle issues that are elevated.Elevates issues to Materials Manager when applicable.Major Responsibilities:- Ensures and leads supply chain to meet production scheduled and sales goals.
