Placement Student - Aberdare Production Control

We are offering a 12‑month placement for a highly motivated undergraduate to join the Production Planning team at our Aberdare site, starting in summer 2026. You must be currently undertaking a Bachelor’s degree and looking to develop your learning through hands‑on industry experience.

Typical Tasks

• Monitor raw material inventory levels (physical and system) for copper, compound and packaging, ensuring stock remains within agreed min/max and safety stock settings.
• Create, review and maintain purchase orders and scheduling agreements in SAP, ensuring accurate pricing, lead times and delivery dates.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries, expedite overdue orders and help manage shortages by proposing alternatives and recovery actions with Production/Planning.
• Work with Stores/Warehouse to prioritise receiving, put‑away and staging of materials for production.
