Placement Student - Aberdare Production Control

We are offering a 12 month placement for a highly motivated undergraduate to join the Production Planning team at our Aberdare site, starting in summer 2026. You must be currently undertaking a Bachelor’s degree and looking to develop your learning through hands on industry experience. In this role, every day will be varied as you support key tasks and projects linked to raw material control.

Typical Tasks Include

• Monitoring raw material inventory levels (physical and system) for copper, compound and packaging, ensuring stock remains within agreed min/max and safety stock settings.
• Creating, reviewing and maintaining purchase orders and scheduling agreements in SAP, ensuring accurate pricing, lead times and delivery dates.
• Coordinating supplier deliveries, expediting overdue orders and helping manage shortages by proposing alternatives and recovery actions with Production/Planning.
