Pipelayer & Pipelayer Helper

We are looking to add Pipelayers and Pipelayer Helpers to our Underground Water & Sewer Division.

Pipelayers are responsible for assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. They ensure ground is prepped and trenches dug out for pipes. They align pipes and seal joints together with cement or glue.

Wilco is currently seeking Pipelayers or experienced Water and Sewer Personnel to join our diverse and dynamic team and perform some or all the following:

Responsibilities

• Measuring and configuring pipe routes.
• Laying pipe to design grade and ensuring proper tamping of pipe.
• Gathering material and installation tools.
• Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators.
• Removing old or broken piping systems.
• Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers.
