Pipefitter

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be working in a fabrication yard and will be responsible for pipe fabrication and fitting on various size pipe. Duties (to include but not limited to) - Fabrication of various pipe in the yard. Fitting pipes - Working with steel, stainless and exotic pipe of various size.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Profile and shape pipes and components using handheld power tools, mechanical cutting machines and associated tooling.
• Prepare and fit piping systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare, assemble, and connect piping systems, including bolted clamps, flanges and threaded pipes.
• Work as part of a team with pipe fitters and other associated trades.
• Test pipework and systems, commission systems.
• Experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
