**Job Description**

The Pipefitter installs, assembles, and maintains piping systems by interpreting blueprints and technical specifications, selecting appropriate materials, and performing precise cutting, threading, bending, and fitting of pipe. This role works on a variety of new construction and industrial projects, ensuring that all piping systems meet quality, safety, and code requirements while operating tools and equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and cutting torches.

**Responsibilities**

+ Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, technical manuals, and specifications to determine the scope of work, including pipe locations, quantities, and material requirements.
+ Select the appropriate type and size of pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, supports, and related materials and equipment according to project specifications and applicable codes.
