Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to all relevant legislation, policies and proceduresRead and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirementsCut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machinesSelect type and size of pipe requiredMeasure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power toolsWeld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systemInstall supports, valves, piping and control systemsHydrotest system for leaks using testing equipmentClean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush systemRemove and replace worn components and reactivate systemOther duties as requiredQualifications
