Job Description
This Pipefitter position is responsible for building, assembling, and installing piping systems used in the manufacturing of heavy equipment. The person in this role will read and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install steel and stainless-steel piping. Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and assembling pipe using a variety of fabrication tools and equipment. The Pipefitter will secure piping systems using methods such as threaded connections, welding, brazing, clamps, and brackets while ensuring proper fit, alignment, and quality throughout the process. Candidates should have experience with MIG welding equipment and be able to perform tack welding as needed.
