IMMEDIATELY HIRING PIPE WELDERS AND PIPEFITTERS IN RALEIGH, NC

PAY $25-35 PER HOUR + OT

Responsibilities

• Perform manual GTAW (TIG) open-root pipe welding on stainless steel piping systems.
• Weld 2” NPS Schedule 80 stainless steel pipe in the 6G (45° fixed) position.
• Execute high-quality root pass, hot pass, fill, and cap welds with full fusion and penetration.
• Set up and maintain argon shielding gas and internal purge systems to ensure oxidation-free root welds.
• Select and use proper filler metals (., ER308L / ER316L) per material specifications.
• Control heat input, arc length, travel speed, and interpass temperature to prevent distortion and ensure metallurgical integrity.
• Perform accurate pipe fit-up, including bevel angle, land (root face), root opening, and alignment tolerances.
