JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Picker / Packers to work for a large distribution company based in Skelmersdale

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatching of products within a warehouse or distribution centre, meeting company productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or handheld scanners
• Pack items securely and correctly to prevent damage during transit
• Label and prepare orders for dispatch
• Check quantities and product quality before packing
• Maintain accuracy and meet daily picking/packing targets
• Use warehouse equipment such as scanners, pallet trucks, or trolleys
• Keep work area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Report damaged or missing stock to supervisors
