Responsibilities

1. Provide clinical physiotherapy treatment including assessment, problem identification, setting treatment goals, treatments, and re‑evaluation of patients/residents. Educate patients/residents and their families in aspects of the physiotherapy treatment. Obtain patient/resident history from chart review, interviews and observation, and information provided at resident conferences and team meetings. Make recommendations for treatment to ensure quality patient/resident care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
2. Develop and maintain schedules of individual or group physiotherapy treatment sessions in cooperation with other disciplines as necessary.
