Summary Of Duties

• Responsible for providing person-centred patient assessments and interventions in collaboration with the interprofessional team, including recommendations for follow-up as required (i.e. Home Care Program, community or rehabilitation resources). Actively participates in inter-professional team activities such as team meetings, clinical rounds, team huddles and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participates in continuing professional development activities including the provision of clinical and educational in-services that fosters ongoing learning, professionalism, interprofessional collaborations, and best practices in physiotherapy.
• Participates in the supervision and education of physiotherapy students on an ongoing basis.
• Is an expert resource for staff, students, and other health care providers related to physiotherapy in the Tory Trauma Program.
