Radiation Oncology
Status: Full-Time
Shift: Day
The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The Physicist is responsible for technical aspects of the quality control program in the Radiation Oncology Dept., including equipment calibration and commissioning. Ensures that the dose prescription is accurately delivered to the defined patient site.
D. in Radiation Science, Health Physics, Physics or equivalent
Eligible for ABR certification in related Medical physics specialty
Day Shift
Full Time
Assists Chief Physicist in meeting the NJ State and NRC regulations for patient treatment and safety
Assists Dosimetrists in performing all treatment planning and calculations as well as performing these same procedures
Assists in yearly and monthly calibrations of Linear Accelerators as assigned by the Chief Physicist
