Summary *****A recruitment/relocation incentive may be offered to highly qualified candidate(s).***** The Psychiatry Service Staff Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric care to Veterans referred for Mental Health services within the Psychiatrist's approved privileges. In addition to Veteran care, the Psychiatrist may have responsibilities in other areas such as education and research. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - Please see below. Responsibilities The Staff Psychiatrist is responsible for providing psychiatric care in an outpatient setting, identifying Veterans' mental and medical health needs and designing diagnostic and therapeutic plans to meet these needs.
