Program Assistant

Directly responsible for all office management activities related to the daily operations of the Physical Therapy department. Performs routine office procedures, including greeting patients, scheduling patient appointments, typing, answering the telephone, taking messages, filling out forms, getting prior authorization for treatment, and answering requests for information from insurance companies. Provide exceptional customer service to departmental patients. Provide support to, and function as an integral member of, an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

High school diploma required, and three years of healthcare-related work experience preferred. Knowledge of the workers' compensation system preferred.

Must have experience with PC and windows-based programs and the ability to organize work projects, prioritize, problem solve, and function independently. Keyboarding skills adequate to accomplish required departmental data entry. Good c...
