Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Position Purpose

To serve as a medical clinician and to provide primary medical care and health promotion to the student community in consultation with staff physicians. Required Qualifications Skills and Knowledge
* Knowledge of adolescent and young adult growth and development.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Sound judgment and problem-solving skills and ability to make independent decisions.
* Ability to make medical and health assessments and apply PA/NP practices and processes.
* Strong commitment to a diverse working environment and to serving the needs of a large and diverse community.

Minimum Experience
* Two years of nurse practitioner or physician assistant experience.
* Experience in primary care, college health, and/or community health desirable.
* Experience in physical assessment and triage.
