GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the general guidance of the medical director, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with diseases and adverse health conditions following the written guidelines approved by the department.

This position in on the acute response team, which covers rapid response, any urgent patient care needs, code stroke and PERT as well as transition of care. The shifts are 12 hours variable shifts and rotate every 6 weeks from days to nights. Weekends and holidays are variable.
