Summary These are TEMPORARY, INTERMITTENT positions located in Bureau of Medical Services, Office of Clinical Programs. The incumbent serves as a Physician Assistant responsible for filling medical positions at overseas posts or domestically when there are staffing shortages or extended staffing gaps by assuming the role of a primary care provider and is responsible for providing a full range of primary, preventative, and emergency medical services. Responsibilities Provide primary and preventive health care services across the lifespan. Obtains the patient history, performs physical assessments to include diagnosis and treatment, emergency and acute care services. Manage health unit personnel and resources, inventory of supplies, provides training, maintains budget and medical records and facilitate emergency visitation travel.
