 UP Health System-Portage in Hancock, Michigan invites qualified Board Certified Advanced Practice Providers to join our Express Care team. NP/PA to be considered.
  About the position: 
 2 Express Care/Walk-In locations, Houghton, and Calumet
 Open hours of operation 9a-6p seven days a week (9a-2p holidays)
 1 APP to provide 10-hour coverage daily per site
 100% Outpatient
 Collegial and supportive practice environment
 Present day volumes average 40 in Houghton and 25 in Calumet
 No After-hours call
 Clinic EMR: Athena
 Waived testing performed. COVID antigen testing and COVID swabbing for PCR
 Suturing of simple wounds
  About the Practices: 
  Houghton : co-located with UP Health System Fitness Center. Provider is assigned to two rooms. Clinical staff assist with rooming and completing waived POC testing. Providers should be comfortable seeing o...
