Physical Therapy Assistant Wanted at the Vassar Hospital - PR 20 hours
Monday and Friday 0730-1600 and Tuesday 0730-11:30. 2 weekend days a month. Flex Schedule.
Summary:
Provides direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and assists the Physical Therapist in executing described care plans. Provides clinical instruction to Physical Therapy Assistant students. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the patient care department.
Responsibilities:
* Provides direct patient care services to ensure the effectiveness of Physical Therapy programs.
* Handles an assigned patient caseload providing appropriate treatment as required.
* Assists as needed, the attendant Physical Therapist in re-evaluating patient status, and in the progression of patient programming.
