PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination and supervision of all warehouse and transportation activities
• Monitor inventory levels, identify stock discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Liaise with procurement, production and sales teams to ensure seamless flow of goods
• Oversee the performance of third-party logistics providers and manage their service quality
• Analyze distribution data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse and logistics personnel
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a physical distribution or logistics management role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
