Phlebotomist

About this position

Performs blood specimen collection. Performs responsibilities with consideration for customers who may include: infants, children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)required.
• Successful completion of an accredited program in phlebotomy training or medical assistant program preferred.

Experience

Experience
• Minimum of one year experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
