Job Description
This inpatient Phlebotomist role focuses on performing high-quality blood draws and specimen collection in a hospital laboratory setting. You will collect, process, and store specimens, ensure accurate labeling and documentation, and support safe, efficient laboratory operations while delivering compassionate care to patients, including pediatric patients.
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture blood draws and other specimen collections, including urine and fecal samples, in an inpatient hospital setting.

+ Demonstrate proficiency with straight needles and butterfly needles to safely and effectively collect blood specimens from patients, including pediatric patients.

+ Collect and store specimens according to established laboratory protocols and test requirements.

+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes to ensure accurate patient and test identification.
