The Phlebotomist provides expert support in blood collection and specimen preparation, ensuring accurate, timely, and compassionate service for patients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds. This role focuses on performing blood draws and related laboratory tasks while maintaining patient comfort, specimen integrity, and adherence to established procedures and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture and other blood draw procedures using straight needles and butterfly needles while minimizing patient discomfort.

+ Collect, label, and store blood and other specimens, such as urine or fecal samples, in accordance with established procedures and test requirements.

+ Clearly and courteously explain venipuncture and other specimen collection processes to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
