This is a full time evening shift Phlebotomist position for St. Mary's Hospital in Madison working a total of 40 hours per week. Shifts will be 8 hours and vary between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.

**Job Summary:**

Under specific direction, collects and prepares blood specimens and other samples for laboratory testing. Maintains collection areas and equipment and performs record keeping duties.

**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Collects blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary technique and processes the samples according to laboratory guidelines.
+ Delivers samples to the laboratory in established time frames.
