Job Duties

Obtains blood specimens from patients. May be called on to collect throat specimens. May also perform clerical duties, computer based activities, and may perform some laboratory procedures as required.

+ Collects proper and adequate specimens for diagnostic testing while maintaining positive patient relations.

+ Assists other laboratory staff members in computer-based activities and general clerical responsibilities.

+ Accepts assignments readily and adapts to various workplace environments, serving as a hospital liaison member.
